Spa Policies

A Healer’s Hand + The Nest (AHH) is committed to providing the best possible therapeutic experience and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. To ensure your well-being and safety and respect the time of our dedicated providers, we have outlined some of our policies below, including:

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: AHH prioritizes the time of both our valued clients and dedicated service providers. To ensure efficient scheduling and appointment accessibility, AHH maintains a 48-hour cancellation policy.

48-Hour Cancellation Policy
  • More than 48 hours’ notice: Cancel or reschedule without penalty.
  • Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours’ notice: A $25 fee applies.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: A fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service applies.
  • No-shows and same-day cancellations: The full appointment cost will be charged.
Policy Exceptions

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Within our standard 48-hour cancellation policy, we offer flexibility in the following circumstances:

  • Medical emergencies: A sudden, serious illness or injury requiring hospitalization affecting
    you or a close family member (including childbirth). Please note documentation may be requested.
  • Unexpected severe weather: Severe weather conditions or events (e.g. natural disasters, storms, or weather warnings) that significantly impact travel safety and/or spa accessibility.
  • Death/Bereavement: The passing of a close family member or companion.

Additional Information

Please note the following additional information:

  • Booking Requirements: A valid credit card is required to secure your appointment. You will be provided a secure link to upload your credit card information. Failure to provide card information may result in appointment cancellation. Please note some appointment types may require a non-refundable deposit.
  • Front Door Lock: Please note the front door may be locked in between service appointments for security purposes, but rest assured, someone will be with you right away.
  • Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in provider discretion to either shorten or reschedule the appointment. Same-day cancellation fees may apply.
  • Prepaid Services: Same-day cancellations or no-shows for any appointments booked using prepaid services, including gift certificates, special discount packages, or memberships, will result in forfeiture of the prepaid service value.
  • Rate Changes: AHH reserves the right to adjust provider/service rates at any time due to factors such as provider education/expertise, operational costs, client retention, workload capacities, etc.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we’ve carefully crafted our 48-hour cancellation policy to balance flexibility for clients with fairness to our providers. In our industry, providers are compensated based on their scheduled appointments. Missed appointments, even due to illness, directly impact their livelihood.

Thank you for understanding and respecting our policy—it allows us to honor our team’s time and ensure they are fairly compensated while continuing to provide the high-quality care and service you expect.

Covid-19 + Masks

COVID-19 + FACE MASKS. AHH is committed to maintaining the highest level of health and safety. While most COVID-19-related regulatory guidelines have expired, AHH providers continue to wear face masks. Clients and visitors are not required to wear face masks but may choose to do so at their own discretion.

For upcoming appointments, we kindly ask that clients notify AHH reception and/or the appropriate service provider before scheduled appointment times if you are not feeling well and/or need to reschedule any booked services.

AHH reserves the right to refuse services to anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness.

Minor Client Policy

MINOR SERVICES POLICY. A Healer’s Hand + The Nest provides services to minors ages 13–17 with parent or legal guardian consent. For the safety and comfort of all clients, the following guidelines apply:

  • Under Age 13:
    We do not provide services to individuals under the age of 13.

  • Ages 13–15:
    A parent or legal guardian must remain in the treatment room for the duration of the appointment. This ensures appropriate supervision and supports clear communication with the provider.

  • Ages 16–17:
    Minors ages 16 and older may receive services without a parent or guardian present, provided that all required consent forms and intake paperwork have been completed and submitted in advance by the parent or legal guardian.

  • Parental Responsibility:
    The parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the minor understands the nature of the service and behaves in a manner that supports a safe, respectful treatment environment.

This policy is in place to maintain safety and ensure an appropriate therapeutic setting for all clients.

Privacy Policy

PRIVACY POLICY. AHH respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Our website uses cookies, which are small data files placed on your device, to track your browsing activity and remember preferences (like login information). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Our site may also include embedded content from other websites (e.g., videos, social media feeds).  These websites may collect data about you through cookies or other tracking methods. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any embedded content to understand their data practices.

We collect information necessary for scheduling appointments, processing payments, and providing requested services. This information may include your name, contact details, appointment history, and any relevant health information you choose to share. We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. We utilize secure measures to safeguard your data and only authorized personnel have access. Please refer to our expanded Privacy Policy here.

Pre-Treatment Disclosure

PRE-TREATMENT DISCLOSURE. Prior to receiving services, return clients will be asked to inform their provider of any health changes by filling out the appropriate form. This form concerns any essential updates related to your health, including:

  • Any changes to medical history, such as any recent diagnosis or illness.
  • Changes to medications, including but not limited to immunosuppressant medications, blood thinners, insulin, and photosensitizing medication.
  • Recent medical intervention or any recent cosmetic procedures (such as injectables/fillers/botox, laser, dermaplaning, etc.).
  • Any possibility for pregnancy or if you are currently lactating.
  • Placement of any metal implants (dental implants, metal plates, screws or pins) or any medical device such as insulin pump, ports, or pacemaker.
  • Any skin rashes, sunburns, blisters, open wounds, bruises, and/or any recent injury.
  • Any recent herpetic HSV outbreak or cold sores within the past two weeks.

Purchases + Returns

PURCHASES AND RETURNS. You can return eligible AHH products and goods within 30 days of purchase. To qualify for a full refund via the original payment method, the items must be returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Please note that products purchased during promotions or special offers are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

  • Gift certificates can be returned for a refund within 72 hours (3 days) of purchase. AHH gift certificates are valid for up to two years from the purchase date (unless otherwise specified). They cannot be redeemed for cash. Please bring a copy of your gift certificate (print or digital) to redeem at checkout.
  • Pre-purchased packages must be used within one year of purchase. Pre-purchased packages are transferable but not refundable.
  • Purchase discounts and promotional offers cannot be stacked.
